@classic_film He won the NY, NSFC. But he also lost the GG to Dudley Moore, Micki & Maude! No SAG back then. The bias against Comedy (Moore wasn’t nominated either), possibly not taking Martin seriously probably the cause. Martin still has no competitive noms. They did give him an Honorary.
