My first Bond was “From Russia With Love” during a family vacation in Vancouver. I thought it was so keen (to use the slang of the day) to see a movie in a foreign country!

@classic_film My first Bond film was a family trip to the drive-in for You Only Live Twice. I was 10 or so and confused about how they filmed in outer space (😹). After that we went to the theatre for each new Bond entry up to Man with the Golden Gun, after which I went to the Army. Memories!

Fondly recalling our ‘73 “Wide-Track” Pontiac Catalina; tap your toe on the gas pedal and instant zoom — 70 mph in a second! (At least it felt that way to me.)

We had a used '73 Impala (the famous metallic green color) for several years. It was a beast!

RIP to my favorite actor; just watched “Night Moves” on TCM and his performance was as edgy and eloquent in 2025 as it was when I first saw it while I was in college 50 years ago.
