October was National Substance Use Prevention Month and according to the organization, Smart Approaches to Marijuana (SAM), it is a month that our nation “highlights the vital role of substance abuse prevention in both individual and community health.”One particular substance being widely used by our youth today is marijuana, which has seen an increase in youth use since its legalization.
