MethodsThe study population consisted of high school varsity and junior varsity female track and field athletes. To be eligible, participants had to be 14–18-year-old gender-identifying women or nonbinary individuals enrolled in high school and members of their high school’s varsity or junior varsity cross-country teams in fall 2022.
