The Alamance County Sheriff's Office has capped a yearlong narcotics investigation called ‘Operation Roadrunner’ that lead to 42 arrests. The Alamance Narcotics Enforcement Team (ANET), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) took part in the investigation. The sheriff's office said out of the 42 arrested, four hail from Orange County and one was from Durham County. The sheriff's office said they seized 18.6 kilograms of cocaine, 159 lbs.
