Posted: It’s the beginning of the week, which means it’s time to introduce the Montgomery Humane Society’s Pets of the Week. This week we have Tortie and Clover. Tortie is a 2-year-old Tortoiseshell cat. She is an attention hog who loves being spoiled like the princess she is. Tortie loves playing with toys, judging birds through the window, and being very chatty. Clover is a 2 and a half year old Terrier mix dog.

While there is no cure for Parkinson’s, there are a variety of ways that can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life. The Bell Road YMCA in Montgomery offers a program, called Rock Steady, specifically for people living with Parkinson’s disease.

Wrynn is a 2-month-old brindle Terrier mix puppy. He may be small, but Wrynn has a big heart that is brimming with love. Wrynn is pure sweetness and loves to give lots of kisses. Astro is a 2 and a half-year-old Akita mix dog. He is a gentle giant that also looks like a fluffy cloud.

Nectar is a 4-month-old domestic shorthair kitten. He is very shy and needs a security blanket to soothe him. Nectar enjoys being held, is super chatty, and has beautiful apricot fur. Nana is a 2-year-old Terrier mix dog.

Binxy is an 8-month-old all black domestic shorthair kitten. He’s a funny little kitty who loves to make people laugh. Binxy loves playing with toys and showing off his paws for unknown reasons. Oslo is a 3-year-old Collie mix dog. He was mistreated by his previous owner and is ready to find a nice loving family to adopt him.
