San Antonio, Texas – The Centenary men's soccer teams' season came to and end on Sunday afternoon with a 6-1 loss to the Trinity University Tigers in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match at Paul McGinlay Field. The Gents finish their 2023 campaign 4-9-3 overall and, 1-6-1 in SCAC play while the Tigers upped their record to 11-2-2 and 6-2 in league play. Trinity clinched the No. 2 seed in next weekend's SCAC Tournament in Houston.

The Gents (3-6-2, 0-3 SCAC) and Pirates (7-1-3, 3-1 SCAC) battled to a scoreless draw at the half and then Raghav Sharma's fifth goal of the season in the 49th minute off of a corner kick from Michael Grimm made it 1-0 Southwestern.
