As documentaries go, 2021’s Wolfgang was a firm favourite for me from about five minutes in. A fascinating look at the life of Wolfgang Puck, the chef behind the Los Angeles restaurant Spago, it dives head-on into the life of the Austrian who essentially paved the way for all celebrity chefs after him, injecting high-octane glamour into the 1980s California culinary scene.
