    Since 2020, Midwxst (his real name is Edgar) has been making brutally honest tracks that are sparked with fried, hyperpop beats. Sometimes they're loud, sometimes they're cocky — and at all times, they give the feeling as though you're looking in the mirror with him. Lately, though, he's been trying out a new sound. On his latest debut album, E3, he's simply doing whatever feels right for the song.

    Where did you get your shirt from? Wolfgang Tillmans: This is an artwork by Juan Pablo Echeverri, the Colombian artist with whom I became close friends and who passed away last year. It's the typeface of Metallica, which is this macho, masc band, and then the word Maricona, which is an exaggeration of gay: “hyper gay”.  I was reading in an interview that you did with [Slavoj] Zizek where he was talking about his resistance to the one-line autobiography, and he gave his parody of one.

    Do you find the process of how you write now different from when you first started writing? Now that it has become a job for you whereas before it could simply be a cathartic release of emotions. I mean more no than yes. I think it's really easy to get in your head and read reviews or get in the brain of the readers.

    Her SS24 collection consisted of a total 23 looks, all based on unique personality archetypes. From “the office flirt” to the “the publicist” to the “the podcaster” and everything in between, each model had a very important role to play whether at, or headed to, the office.
