Heat the avocado oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add in the red bell pepper, green bell pepper, garlic, red onion, and jalapeño (if using). Sauté until just tender and fragrant, about 5 minutes. Add in the cooked chicken, taco seasoning, and water. Bring to a simmer, and cook until just thickened, about 2 minutes. Remove the chicken mixture from the skillet and set aside. Wipe the skillet clean. Return the skillet to medium-high heat.

This cookie mix is sized to fit in wide mouth quart size mason jars. You could also use regular-mouth (it’s the same volume), but I found that it was a bit trickier to get the pretty layers when working with a regular mouth jar. You can use the metal lid and rings that come with the jars for closure, or you can use the wide-mouth plastic storage caps. Sealed up in a jar, these cookie mixes will easily last three months or more in the pantry. All the ingredients are shelf stable.

Sure can! To make this vegan, swap out the dried milk for dried coconut milk, and make sure to grab chocolate chips that are dairy-free. We used dried coconut milk in our Golden Milk Mix with great results! You can put your hot chocolate mix into any kind of covered container. Some folks like to use candy bags, but we love the simplicity of packing the mix into Ball® Regular Mouth Pint Jars. These pint jars are 16 ounces, and you’ll get three jars out of the recipe down below.

This kettle corn recipe is one of my favorite homemade snacks and gifts. Every year, I make a huge batch, package it up in cute bags and containers, and make a lot of friends and family very happy! Just a few minutes and a few cents worth of ingredients are all you need. Promise me you won’t shell out the cash for the pre-popped bags or the microwave stuff anymore. This recipe is easy-peasy and doesn’t require any special equipment.

Every time I’ve brought these lemon crinkle cookies somewhere, they’ve garnered the same reaction that I had the first time I tried them. At first appearance, people think they’re boring little sugar cookies, and then after a bite, people are over-the-moon, stumbling over themselves to get the recipe!I think the unassuming look of these cookies is probably a defense mechanism.
