1 IntroductionWith the rapid development of the social economy, improved living standards, and changes in living habits, the number of obese people is increasing globally. According to a recent World Health Organization (WHO) report, 39% of adults aged 18 years and over were overweight in 2016, and 13% were obese worldwide (1). Obesity is recognized as a chronic, progressive disease requiring long-term management (2).
