The original 2014 out of print version has been remastered and will be released for the first time on Rough Trade. And there's a UK and US tour to go with it. In 2012, Rhys embarked on a solo tour through the heart of America following the route taken by his distant relative John Evans, discovering new details as he travelled. He was ultimately looking for Evans's lost unmarked grave.

Anton Newcombe and band play Glastonbury Festival on Sunday 29th June, eleven years on from their set on the John Peel stage in 2014. Released three decades ago next week, Pure Phase was Spiritualized's second studio album, the drone masterpiece encompassing indie rock and electronica alongside much beloved Spiritualized space rock. The record was recorded onto tape, then cut into usable sections, the parallel producing a phase effect. The core line up for the recording of Pure Phase was main man Jason Pierce, Kate Radley and Sean Cook.
