On 24 September 2024, the Commission issued its first clearance decision under the M&A tool of the new Foreign Subsidies Regulation (“FSR”). Following an in-depth investigation, the Commission conditionally cleared Emirates Telecommunications Group Company PJSC’s (“e&”) acquisition of sole control of PPF Telecom Group B.V. (“PPF”).
