We have been to this place many many times and it is always delicious. As a matter of fact, it is our go to spot for special occasions. And by special occasions, I mean any time we are hungry for something amazing. This Gastonia restaurant ranks 16th on Yelp’s best list. According to our source the Gaston Gazette, Webb Custom Kitchen in Gastonia has once again been ranked among the best restaurants in North Carolina. What an honor and a well deserved one in my opinion.

“Nursey” the shark was notorious for trying to hide from the prying eyes of tourists. And he will be missed. A North Carolina aquarium mourns the unexpected loss of this 220 pound shark. He spent 16 years at the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island. And he was a big boy at 7’7″. Nursey was part of the “Graveyard of the Atlantic” exhibit at the North Carolina aquarium. You will find the place in Manteo which is about 190 miles east of Raleigh according to our source, the Charlotte Observer.

It’s a phenomenon in the eastern part of the state. Horses mysteriously vanish on the North Carolina Outer Banks. Some call them ghost horses and it happens on the northern end of the Outer Banks. For example, there is a wild stallion that the locals named Dash. According to our source, the Charlotte Observer, Dash seemingly came out of thing air on August 14 and he wasn’t alone. He brought his mom with him that has a name already too. Folks call her Rotor.
