MethodsAPPETIZE (ClinicalTrials.gov identifier: NCT04566653) was a multicentre, non-interventional, exploratory, phase 4, single-blind, cross-sectional, randomised, cross-over study performed in 17 centres across the USA, Canada and a European Union (EU) region comprising France, Spain and Italy. Screening occurred at visit 1, within 7 days of visit 2 (tasting day), to gather baseline safety, laboratory and electrocardiogram (ECG) data, and to confirm that eligibility criteria were met.
