How was Art Basel Hong Kong week this year? How was it different from previous years? These were the questions lingering in my mind as I returned to my usual routine after that jam-packed week. There were countless shows, talks, events, and surprises. It was a feast for the eyes, the mind, and the appetite—and a sweet torture for my feet. After some days of rest and reflection, I feel better equipped to answer those questions. Following below is a diary of some of what I saw—and heard—in the city.
