    As Joe Biden’s time in the White House draws to a close, his approval ratings are, shockingly, slightly lower than Donald Trump’s at the close of his first term, after the attempts to overturn the 2020 election: 37% vs. 38%. Does Biden deserve the harsh judgment? Will history be as harsh? Obviously, we won’t know the answer for a while. But today, even Biden’s strongest fans have to have, at best, mixed feelings about his record.

    Five years ago, I gave a TEDx Talk in Toronto titled, Political Correctness Works for No One. I didn’t promote it too heavily at the time—not only because I felt the points I offered weren’t exactly groundbreaking, but also because I was status-conscious of the fact that TEDx is the junior-varsity spin-off of the more illustrious TED Talk franchise.

The anti-Israel protesters are creating a hostile climate for American Jews and hurting the pro-Palestinian cause they ostensibly support. They are also creating potential problems for the Democratic Party, whose progressive wing is associated with these protests.

    THE LATEST SENSATION in the “heterodox” media ecosystem is a long essay by celebrated author and activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali titled “We Have Been Subverted.” Bari Weiss, whose Free Press website published it this week, touted it as “one of the year’s most important essays.” Ali’s husband, British historian Niall Ferguson, called it “essential.” Several tweets linking to the essay went viral.
