Last month, PokerStars North America ran a Red Spade Pass promotion in which they awarded four prizes – a pair of passes to poker winners and two to casino winners. Tonight, the two poker winners will take advantage of their Red Spade Passes as they head to the Toronto Maple Leafs vs Detroit Red Wings tonight at 7 p.m. ET.

From March 21 through April 7, PokerStars Ontario hosted the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP). The entire series – of which there were 44 numbered events, each with low, medium, and high buy-ins – catered to a combined 39,011 entrants and awarded $2,644,118 in prize money. One of the big storylines to come out of the online festival was Bobby "dusty truth" Winger taking down two titles.

On Sunday, Day 1 survivors joined monthly qualifiers, regional winners, and wild cards to battle for the 2025 Eastern Poker Open $34,000 Championship title. There were 291 hopefuls on Saturday’s opening flights, and only 16 of them advanced to the finale. They were joined by dozens of others, and all told 90 players battled on Day 2. After 12 hours of play, it was 61-year-old Rick Ziegler out of Stoughton, Massachusetts claiming the title and $10,000 first-place prize.
