We introduced the Mangled Mercury Project a few months ago and shared the first cuts, plans, etc. for this soon to be cooler ride. We continued with more videos in the series, and if you missed those then the link is below. Those episodes include massaging roof panels, changing the windshield height, reshaping, shaping, and more. Just cutting the top down doesn’t make the car look right, as it can be boxy and not smooth like the front of the car wants the rear to be.

That’s right, this is Robert Wickens driving at speed around Laguna Seca with hand controls only! Without use of his legs, Robert has to do it all with just his hands and arms. Hell, I know folks that need an extra hand to drive and they have all four limbs to work with from the start! This is impressive and fun to watch. I’ve always loved the in car angles that show drivers hands during the race or their feet on the pedals. This one here is truly something special.
