Sure, the government may try to push its agendas and silence certain groups, but we have many platforms where we can thrive online. It was recently announced that a lot of major companies would be scaling back on their diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives following President Donald Trump’s implementation of orders that target those sectors.

Everyone can remember imaginary characters that they grew up thinking were real, from Santa Claus to the Tooth Fairy. Oftentimes, some of us have a fun story of when we ultimately discovered they were not real. No matter the case, we had fun pretending they were and made some great memories with those characters as toys or on TV during our childhood. Unicorns have been gaining some attention as of late, with two films in the last year possibly leading to that (both made it onto our list).

We’re all guilty of at one time having said yes to doing something we genuinely didn’t care to do. That’s true whether it’s sacrificing sleep by waking up early to go to brunch with the inlaws or agreeing to go to a holiday party when you quite literally can’t stand your significant other’s coworkers. The reason we tend to give in to saying yes is because we don’t want to be difficult or come off a certain way.

There comes a time in everyone’s life where we slowly transition from being a kid under our parents’ guidance to being full-fledged adults who need to navigate life on our own. There is not a designated age for when this happens, nor does it happen to everyone in the same way. Some have a plan for how and when they want to move out, whether it’s to their own apartment or go away to college. Some get forced out, and others are held back because their parents have a hard time letting them go.

She must befriend Mauro (Circus-Szalewski) and learn what he is researching then report her findings in hopes of being allowed home.
