SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Six years after leading the Wall High School baseball team to the first state championship in program history, former Hawks head coach Jason Schniers and his players are pulling for the 2025 Hawks team to add another title. The 2019 team defeated Blanco 2-1 in the UIL Class 3A state title, back when there was only one champion in each classification.

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Central Lady Cats Softball Camp wrapped up this week at the San Angelo Stadium complex, as dozens of players from around the Concho Valley worked on their skills. The four-day camp was directed by Lady Cats head softball coach Tabitha Farmer, her assistants and some of the Lady Cats players. The camp was divided into two age groups and skill levels.

The Belles will kick things off at the annual Kathleen Brasfield Invitational at the Junell Center on Sept. 5-6. ASU is scheduled to host Arkansas-Monticello, Adams State, Southern Nazarene, Colorado Mesa and UT Permian Basin for the 12-match event. ASU’s first road match is Sept.
