1 Introduction The Cardiac Care Outcomes Assessment Program (COAP) is a data-driven, physician-led collaborative quality improvement program under the auspices of the Foundation for Health Care Quality, a nonprofit organization based in the Pacific Northwest that seeks to support hospitals and clinicians in achieving the highest levels of quality and patient safety.
