Being a Christian, I suppose I should prefer Christian jokes about religion, but I often find the Jewish jokes have more bite. Here is one. The boy who is about to be bar-mitzvahed approaches his instructor with a troubled expression: “Rabbi, I have to tell you something important. You see, I don’t believe in God.” The rabbi stares at the sad youth with scorn, and replies, “Do you think He cares?”Even as a joke, it is unimaginable that a Christian priest could speak like that.
