    MEQUON — The Mequon Police Department Tuesday welcomed a new four-legged member to its K-9 unit, Bogey. The 18-month-old purebred German Shepherd was imported from Germany and is currently settling into his new role as a police canine, according to the department. He will fill the position previously held by K-9 Djuke, who died in January after serving for more than four faithful years on the force.
