Airbnb just made opting for a homestay on your next trip a lot more appealing. Last month, I found myself sweating on a treadmill at Lily of the Valley hotel in Saint-Tropez, where I was undertaking its Sports Program. It meant three full days packed with fitness classes, hikes and swim sessions, so I left my floaty dresses and strappy heels at home and subbed in my activewear and running trainers, which usually gather dust when I’m away. While I had little need for slinky outfits, I still wanted to look chic; I was still headed to the French Riviera.
