The Reds’ biggest problem right now, the one that has been at the center point of any conversation around the team since the first week of the season, has been the lineup’s tendency to shut down for games at a time. Continuing on some themes of the season, during the Reds’ 5-1 loss in extra innings to the White Sox on Tuesday, the Reds’ offense got into no rhythm and had no life. On top of that, some mistakes in the field and on the bases added up.
