We’ve talked a lot about how TikTok has benefitted the US economy, but what about the other way around? According to The Information, TikTok’s US operations are thriving more than ever — and raking in cash for ByteDance. An inside source told the outlet that ByteDance’s international revenue, the majority of which comes from TikTok US, jumped by 63% to $39 billion in 2024. This $39 billion ended up accounting for a quarter of ByteDance’s total revenue ($155 billion) for that year.

The Walmart bakery section might seem simple, but it offers a range of custom and deluxe cakes, including its infamous vintage, heart-shaped cakes, the viral $18 birthday cake, and even wedding cakes. Amid the disappointing news that there’s still no confirmed TikTok deal, things got a little unhinged.
