ZOOM is down across the US, ruining video meetings and office communications for thousands of people. Over 60,000 people reported issues with the online video service as of 3:30 pm on Wednesday, according to outage tracker Downdetector. It comes after nearly 1,000 people in the UK reported issues around the same time as the outage spreads across other countries. "Just reported on the news, GLOBAL ZOOM OUTAGE," one wrote on Downdetector. Zoom hasn't returned The U.S. Sun's request for comment.

ANDROID users should check their devices to see if they’ve been affected by a new security update. The new update is meant to protect users’ personal information from hackers. Google’s latest security update will automatically reboot locked, unused devices, a press release by the tech company stated. The reboot will restore the device’s memory back to an encrypted state. An encrypted state allows the data stored in the device to be reconfigured so hackers cannot easily decipher it.

SHOPPERS may soon be banned from buying certain sodas and snacks as lawmakers make a controversial proposition. The plan will restrict certain Americans from buying sugary and high-calorie sweets, diet sodas, and fruit juice with less than 50 percent natural juice. The new move will affect those relying on government funding to purchase food, a program also known as food stamps.
