YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Kara Espino had two hits and scored two runs to lead the Gila Ridge Hawks to a 7-5 victory on Tuesday. Both teams now move to 6-4 on the season. Gila Ridge came in to the matchup ranked No. 25 in the 6A rankings, one spot outside the play-in spots. Cibola entered just inside at No. 22. Gila Ridge jumped out to a 6-0 lead after two innings. Cibola would crawl their way back and cut it to a 6-5 ball game going into the sixth inning.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Rodrigo Orozco Araiza had three hits and scored two runs to lead the Cibola Raiders to a 7-1 victory over the Gila Ridge Hawks on Tuesday. No. 31 Cibola moves to 6-6. No. 40 Gila Ridge falls to 2-10. Gila Ridge took the lead in the first inning, scoring their only run of the ball game. Cibola would then go on to score a run in every inning, including two in the sixth to take the game handedly 7-1.

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Kofa Kings defeated the Gila Ridge Hawks 9-0 at Dean Stout Ballpark on Monday. No. 22 Kofa moves to 6-7. This win stops of four-game losing streak for the Kings. No. 38 Gila Ridge falls to 2-8. In the first inning, Kofa jumped ahead early taking a 2-0 lead. In the third inning, Ozzie Ortiz took advantage of an errant pick off-throw and went from first to home to add on another run for Kofa.
