High temperatures today will stay in the upper 70s to lower 80s with mostly cloudy skies and a light southeasterly breeze. Expect showers and storms to become more isolated to widely scattered in nature by the afternoon. Like yesterday, some storms may be strong to marginally severe with concerns of gusty winds and small hail at times. Additional rounds of heavy rainfall could lead to a threat of flash flooding through the evening, so please use caution on the roadways.

ARAB, Ala. (WAFF) - Crowds of people showed out to support the Arab Junior High School Beta Club on Saturday afternoon. The club hosted a chili cookoff to raise money for the organization to attend local and national conventions. One familiar face was in attendance as the guest of honor and that was 48 First Alert Meteorologist Chelsea Aaron. Along with beta students raising money, several local chefs brought their chili to see who would take the crown.
