Abstract: Simple SummaryPDZK1-interacting protein 1 (PDZK1IP1) is a membrane-associated non-glycosylated protein and is involved in development and tumorigenesis. However, the role of PDZK1IP1 in goat subcutaneous preadipocyte differentiation is unknown. In this work, we found that PDZK1IP1 acts as a regulator of adipogenesis, and inhibits goat subcutaneous preadipocyte differentiation by promoting autophagy.
