Dan "Razin" Caine, President Donald Trump's nominee to be the next chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, denied on Tuesday that he has ever worn a "Make America Great Again" hat or any other type of political merchandise. In at least one retelling of Caine and Trump's first meeting in Iraq in 2018, the president has seemed to indicate Caine was wearing a red MAGA hat, something that would not be allowed under military rules.
