Five years ago, I didn’t know how bright my future would be!  As a breast cancer survivor, I hope my story encourages Women in the fight! Mix 92.3's 24th Annual Sista Strut was incredible!  Rain, cold, & all…the city showed out! The Detroit Youth Choir had an amazing performance and what a moment it was to introduce Kem as our Ambassador! In an effort to increase our efforts in heightening the awareness of breast cancer in the Black community, we brought back the Pink Gala earlier this year.

Mix 92.3's Pink Gala was a massive success! After nearly a decade, the return of this incredible event was met with so much excitement, that it sold out in just three weeks! This was an effort to extend our Breast Cancer Awareness initiative beyond our annual Sista Stut event! It also served as the 5-year remission celebration for our very own ya girl Cheron! The beautiful Roostertail in downtown Detroit was draped in hues of pink as we celebrated survivors, supported those in the fight, and...
