TVO Today Live’s next stop is Hamilton. On Saturday, May 10, locals have the chance to be in the audience of the live-taped series on democracy and music, featuring a question-and-answer segment with local musicians. TVO’s Steve Paikin will host Burlington’s Sarah Harmer, and Tom Wilson and Cadence Weapon of Hamilton, at The Music Hall. All are award-winning artists.
Hamilton man charged in Battlefield Park sex assault

A 55-year-old Hamilton man has been charged with sexual assault in connection with an incident involving a 17-year-old. A man approached the teen, who was walking on a trail south of Battlefield Park in Stoney Creek, around 2 p.m. on April 3, Hamilton police said in a release. After an interaction, the teen was sexually assaulted, police said. During their investigation, police asked for witnesses and footage from home surveillance and dash cameras.

Keough started performing burlesque in 2017 and fell in love with the theatrical and humorous playing of characters such as a clown Elvis or Darth Vader from “Star Wars.”“It’s the freedom to be whatever I feel like being at that time,” she said. In an attempt to bring artists together and take a break from the daily stress of life, Keough pulled together a group of four other artists to put together a variety show.
