A 55-year-old Hamilton man has been charged with sexual assault in connection with an incident involving a 17-year-old. A man approached the teen, who was walking on a trail south of Battlefield Park in Stoney Creek, around 2 p.m. on April 3, Hamilton police said in a release. After an interaction, the teen was sexually assaulted, police said. During their investigation, police asked for witnesses and footage from home surveillance and dash cameras.
