Abuja (Sundiata Post) – President Bola Tinubu has asked Caleb Mutfwang, governor of Plateau, to address the “age-long” communal issues connected to killings in the state. The president attributed the ongoing violent attacks in Plateau to the “misunderstandings between different ethnic and religious groups”. In the early hours of Monday, at least 25 people were killed after gunmen invaded Kimakpa village in Miango district under Bassa LGA.

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Gunmen launched a deadly attack on mourners in Ruwi community, Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, killing ten people in a brutal assault on Thursday night. The mourners had gathered at a deceased family’s house in line with local tradition when the assailants struck, leaving seven women and three men dead. Eyewitnesses reported that many of the victims were hacked to death with machetes, while two other women sustained injuries.
