In a party line vote, House Ag votes 29-25 to advance its piece of the budget reconciliation bill. House Ag plusses up commodity programs and crop insurance, but takes an estimated $290 billion out of SNAP over the next decade.

House Ag Ranking Member Angie Craig says Dems have 44 additional amendments they would like to be heard tonight. GOP members have now showed up to meeting and Dems believe Republicans are going to cut them off and end debate.

At some point, the only reason I keep watching the House Ag Committee is just to see when they tap out.
