(KLFY) – Showers and thunderstorms are moving out of the area leaving Acadiana with quiet conditions through the overnight hours. Temperatures will slowly fall into the 70s overnight and remain there to start Saturday morning.

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Showers and thunderstorms are moving out of the area leaving Acadiana with quiet conditions through the overnight hours. Temperatures will slowly fall into the 70s overnight and remain there to start Saturday morning. Saturday will see slightly drier conditions with temperatures in the upper 80s during the afternoon hours. Sun and clouds will move through the sky but rain chances won’t be a problem for the area.

Rain chances will increase to 50% after 9:00 am and won’t diminish until the evening hours. There is another low risk for severe weather and flash flooding too.

Rain chances will increase to 50% after 9:00 am and won’t diminish until the evening hours. There is another low risk for severe weather and flash flooding too. Otherwise, conditions stay hot and humid with high temperatures reaching the upper 80s. Acadiana turns slightly cooler and less humid tonight as a cold front stalls offshore.
