West Ham and Juventus are in talks over a swap deal involving Nayef Aguerd and Daniele Rugani, according to reports in Italy. Aguerd joined West Ham in a £30 million deal from French side Rennes three years ago but the start of his time in the Premier League was disrupted after he required ankle surgery. The Morocco international was part of West Ham's Conference League win two years ago but was then allowed to join Real Sociedad on loan for the season last August.

Kylian Mbappe has been taken to hospital in the United States after missing Real Madrid's Club World Cup opener on Wednesday. The 26-year-old trained with his Madrid teammates in Florida last Sunday ahead of their first game in Group H against Al-Hilal. However, Mbappe missed Tuesday's training session, with Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso claiming that the French forward was suffering from a fever. 'Kylian was feeling a little better, but not enough,' Alonso said after Tuesday's session.

Darwin Nunez has agreed to join Napoli with Liverpool setting a €70 million (£59.8m) asking price for the striker, according to reports in Italy. The Uruguay international, who joined Liverpool for an initial £64m fee from Benfica three years ago, looks set to leave Anfield this summer after failing to secure a regular role under Arne Slot. Nunez made 47 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring seven goals, but started just eight games in the Premier League.
