(8 a.m. EST) -- The latest megaship to make a splash in Miami, MSC World America, arrived into the port on Monday morning, just after sunrise. The ship, which carries 6,752 passengers at full capacity, pulled into MSC's new home, Terminal AA at PortMiami. The structure, which opened in early February and hosted its ribbon cutting Saturday, is the world's largest cruise terminal.

UPDATE: Robert Kagan confirms to NPR that he has resigned from WaPost editorial board after disclosure it would not make an announcement. Kagan has been a persistent conservative critic of Trump, tying him to an autocratic tradition. Uniformly outraged response from staff.
