Short Hills native Aphrodite Deng made a crucial par on the 18th hole to secure the win in the AJGA portion of the LPGA’s Mizuho Americas Open at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City. Needing a par on the final hole, Deng navigated a tricky approach shot from a fairway bunker on the right side of the final hole. “I was trying not to top it and hit the lip,” Deng said.

It’s the biggest week of the year for high school wrestling fans. By the end of three exciting days in Atlantic City, 14 champions will emerge at the 2025 NJSIAA/IBEW Local 102 State Wrestling Championships. We’ll be on hand for all of the action, but until then, get ready for all of the exciting matchups by checking out the brackets. Each bracket will contain 32 seeded wrestlers -- in all, 448 have qualified for the tournament at historic Boardwalk Hall.

Well over 3,000 wrestlers began the run with the district tournaments. Into last week, 1,344 had survived to compete in the region tournaments.
