His bright spots of the season were second-place finishes at Ironman 70.3 Mont Tremblant and Ironman 70.3 Michigan. For Kanute, 2025 is a fresh start after moving from Tucson to Boulder, hiring triathlon coach Neal Henderson, and acquiring a new bike sponsor.
