In a post on Instagram, Derrick Rose announced his retirement. Rose played 16 seasons in the NBA and recently gave up his full salary for 2024-25 in a buyout from the Memphis Grizzlies. Rose wrote lovingly about the game of basketball and all it gave him throughout his life in his retirement announcement. The 2011 NBA MVP also told several media outlets that it was time for him to give his all to his family. Rose was drafted by the Chicago Bulls with the first overall pick at the 2008 NBA Draft.

Adama Sanogo and the Chicago Bulls have agreed to a Two-Way contract. Sanogo appeared in nine games with the Bulls last season while on a Two-Way, averaging 4.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in 7.3 minutes across nine games. Sanogo also appeared in 29 games in the G League, averaging 22.0 points, 12.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 30.3 minutes. Sanogo, who went undrafted in 2023 out of UConn, is represented by Daniel Hazan.

Kris Dunn and the Los Angeles Clippers have reached agreement on a contract. The Clippers and Utah Jazz are discussing a possible sign-and-trade. Dunn spent the past two seasons with the Jazz. Last season, Dunn averaged 5.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 18.9 minutes.

Dallas Mavericks assistant Jared Dudley is signing with Klutch Sports, sources told Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report. Dudley is reportedly a candidate for J.J. Redick's staff with the Lakers, though the Mavs are "intent" on keeping him. Derrick Jones Jr. also signed with Klutch on Friday.
