CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The risk for flooding has not quite subsided, as daily showers and storms stay in the forecast for the Lowcountry! A stalled front is overhead, which will aid in the development of showers and storms each afternoon and evening through early next week. Scattered showers and storms will return this afternoon, and will persist through the evening along the sea breeze. The risk for widespread flash flooding should decline as storms will stay individualized.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Tropical Storm Debby has entered the Gulf of Mexico, and with it comes a wide range of impacts in the coming days! Ahead of “Debby”, rain chances remain elevated as remnant storms from the Midlands begin to track into areas east of I-95 overnight. Flooding concerns were already noted in Orangeburg and Clarendon Counties, but the risk for excessive rainfall is unlikely with any additional overnight rainfall.
