A Mexican navy training ship on a promotional tour of New York City crashed into the Brooklyn Bridge on Saturday night, with multiple videos on social media capturing the moment its masts snapped off as it collided with the iconic structure. The ship, called the Cuauhtémoc, which was covered in lights and brandishing a huge Mexican flag, was carrying about 200 people when it collided with the structure, according to the New York Post.

One person is believed to be dead, and five people are injured, after an explosion outside a fertility clinic in Palm Springs, California, on Saturday morning. The incident was being investigated as a possible car explosion, two law enforcement officials granted anonymity told the Associated Press. Palm Springs mayor Ron deHarte said one person was killed, with ABC’s Los Angeles affiliate reporting that the dead person was a suspect.
