The West Coast League’s Moss Adams Player of the Week and Pitcher of the Week, as announced by Commissioner Rob Neyer, are Wenatchee AppleSox outfielder Max Hartman and Yakima Valley Pippins left-hander Carson Judd, both from Washington State University. Hartman went 7 for 13 with three walks and scored five runs for the AppleSox in the weekend’s season-opening series. He posted multi-hit performances in all three games of Wenatchee’s sweep of the Port Angeles Lefties.

The West Coast League (WCL) is thrilled to announce the official opening of the 2024 season tonight, featuring all 16 teams in action. Each team will play 54 league games this summer, starting tonight and concluding on August 8. The season will culminate in the championship playoffs, which will feature eight teams, each hosting at least one playoff game. Now entering its 19th season, the WCL continues to deliver top-tier summer collegiate baseball.
