    Despite a tire malfunction on departure from Atlanta, an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 9 made a safe landing in San Diego International Airport on April 3rd, 2025. According to the Aviation Herald, it was at around 17:30 local time that flight AS474 experienced the blow out on takeoff. Carrying 165 passengers and six crew members, the aircraft completed its off from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta and continued onwards to its destination of San Diego.
