In a recent study in Clinical Psychological Science, Taylor et al. (2022) tested the hypothesis that memories of a traumatic film would be less coherent than memories of a nontraumatic film, citing predictions derived from clinical theories (Brewin, 2016; van der Kolk & Fisler, 1995).
