The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $100 million, with a cash option of $45.3 million. The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia. NJ.com will publish the winning numbers after the drawing. No one across the country hit Tuesday’s $90 million jackpot. There were also no second-prize tickets of at least $2 million sold. Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 16, 17, 43, 46 and 58.

Newark Mayor Ras Baraka was released Friday night after being held following his arrest outside the gates of an immigrant detention facility, according to his campaign spokesman, Kabir Moss. Baraka walked out of U.S. Custom Services in Newark shortly before 8 p.m. He was arrested around 2:40 p.m. by ICE officers outside the Delaney Hall immigrant detention facility in Newark after he was physically dragged through the gate and placed in handcuffs.

The Jackson Premium Outlets in Ocean County were evacuated Friday afternoon while police investigated a report of an explosive device at the 70-store outdoor shopping center, authorities said. All employees and customers were evacuated around 3:30 p.m. and no injuries have been reported, police said. Police called the evacuation a precaution while the incident is investigated. As of 4:20 p.m., the outlets were still closed, Jackson Police Chief Matthew Kunz told NJ Advance Media.

New Jersey U.S. Rep. Donald Norcross returned home Thursday after being hospitalized and staying briefly at a rehabilitation facility, his office said. Norcross, D-1, developed sepsis due to a gallbladder infection and was being cared for at Cooper University Hospital last month, officials said.
