The Atlanta Falcons have a very tough decision in front of them about what to do with the No. 15 overall pick. The team could draft a potentially generational defensive tackle or pass-rusher or trade the pick and try to recoup one of the several picks they've lost. The team has several needs to fill, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Atlanta, once again, had one of the worst squads in the league when it came to sacking the opposing quarterback.

Cousins' trade market has fluctuated this offseason as quarterbacks have found new homes and draft speculation runs rampant. There are a lot of questions being asked about the 0-6 Braves. One of the main concerns is if the team spent enough in the offseason to be a true title contender? Mike Bell and Carl Dukes got into a heated conversation Wednesday about that very subject. Bell argued the team came into the season short on pitching and at the shortstop position after Orland Arcia struggled mightily in 2024.

The team is equipped and battle-tested enough to allow for their struggles and loss of key players to settle down and get them back on track naturally. Boone joined Dukes & Bell Tuesday and says a fiery meeting is not the recipe for success when a team this talented gets down.

The 0-4 start for the Atlanta Braves just got made a whole lot worse. Multiple reports surfaced Monday that newly-acquired outfielder Jurickson Profar is facing an 80-game suspension for using a banned substance. Profar will also be indelible for postseason play as part of the suspension. Jarred Kelenic, Bryan De La Cruz, Eli White, Alex Verdugo and Stuart Fairchild among the options to help on the corner outfield spots in Profar's absence.

The Atlanta Hawks may not win a title in the 2024-2025 season but the fanbase should be very excited for the future. The team is stocked with young talent but two players have really stood out this season in rookie Zaccharie Risacher and newly-acquired Dyson Daniels. Risacher is up for Rookie of the Year honors and Daniels is a top contender for Defensive Player of the Year. The team will be bolstered next season when star forward Jalen Johnson returns from a season-ending shoulder injury.

According to Audacy MLB insider Tony Gwynn Jr., Profar is the type of player that comes to the ballpark daily and brings his best effort no matter what. Gwynn Jr. watched him play covering the Padres for 97.3 The Fan in San Diego. The 32-year-old outfielder belted 24 home runs and drove in 85 runs last season to go along with his defensive versatility.
