Helene made landfall in the Florida Panhandle late Thursday and forcefully progressed through Eastern Georgia into Tennessee along the Appalachian Mountains, causing severe flooding and wind damage in numerous East Tennessee counties.

Dear Editor,Kindness is intrinsically prosocial. There cannot be many people who don’t believe that kindness, the act of doing something positive for another person whilst being considerate of them, is a good thing. But it isn’t a cut and dried concept. In professional situations, where resources are tight and we are making decisions about how to allocate resources, we can be kind from one patient’s perspective whilst simultaneously being callous/unkind from another’s.
