The Trump administration has proposed ending the program, but in a letter to EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, Gallego wrote Energy Star saves Arizonans money by providing them independent assurance that products from appliances to homes are energy-efficient investments.

After two controversial bills died in the legislature, the State of Illinois will not be legalizing prostitution or psychedelic drugs anytime soon. David E. Smith, of Illinois Family Institute, says the organization was grateful when both controversial measures failed during the current term. "One was the legalization of prostitution in the state of Illinois, which is very concerning. They call it legalizing sex workers,” he says.

Citigroup has reversed its policy of discriminating against members of the firearm and ammunition industry. Mark Oliva of National Shooting Sports Foundation, the firearm industry trade association, says his organization is "encouraged" by this decision from Citigroup. Oliva says members of the firearm industry have been shut out of financial services offered by Citigroup since at least 2018.
